Candid Mews, Guzape II Cadastral Zone A11, Abuja - Nigeria

Description:

This is a 10-unit residential estate in the new Guzape II residential zone  of the Federal Capital City, Abuja-Nigeria. The site is bounded at its two shorter ends  by municipal roads. Access to this site is from the two boundary roads into the site, and forms the line of bilateral symmetry in the development.

The units are Semi-detached on two suspended floors. Each Unit is a presentation of a simple and precise  building block laterally joined together, and  also laterally inverted across the median road in the estate.

On the ground floor of each unit are uninterrupted parking arrangement for two cars, a service and guest  ensuite bedrooms. The bedroom are located on either side of a service entrance to a rear private garden.

The first floor presents the large family lounge, Dining area, Kitchen and store. The Kitchen connect to the rear via a steel spiral stair case that lands in the private garden below.

On the second floor of the building are three sizeable ensuite bedrooms that collectively opens into the pathway to the stairwell.

The street prototype facade of the units is actively post modern and urban life-styled. It presents  a delicate balance of verticality and horizontality in the delineation of the facade elements of balustrades, window openings and volumetric composition. Servises and maintenance lines in the entire development are smartly routed via rear ducts to the private gardens. The provision of visitors parking devoid of the vehicular traffic of the estate residents is also an exciting feature of the smart residential  estate.
