Villa Boxcular, Residential Development at Ogudu GRA, Kosofe LGA Lagos

Project: Villa Boxcular - Residential Development at Ogudu GRA, Kosofe LGA lagos

Description: Villa Boxcular is a blunt presentation of a residential development in a rigid, muscular and boxed aesthetic expression, on a 360sqm  of precious land, within the lush Ogudu Government Reserved Area. The single dwelling residential unit assumes a rectangular block on ground and two suspended floors.

The ground floor offers a large family lounge, Kitchen, reception and a service quarter, all located to form a continuous social flow of the spaces provided. On the first floor are large 3nos. en-suite bedrooms, and frontal L-shaped terrace smartly located to catch the multiple vistas of the immediate surroundings.  The topmost floor offers additional living area, roof terrace for social functions.

The general external physiognomy is structurally rigid, yet expressive in style by a deliberate jagged expression of surfaces, in differing material compositions. Delicate concrete  roof plates overhang on the buildings exterior facade further demonstrates the brutality of the design, but with poise! The entire roof design is also boxed, and empties rain water into hidden gutters at the building longitudinal facade.

Whats more? The entire building design is deliberately flexible to also function as an office/corporate edifice should it be required, as dictated by the client.
