Proposed Abuja Trauma Centre, Central District-Abuja Nigeria

Description: 

The proposed Abuja Trauma Centre sits on a vast expanse of land within the central business district.

It is multi-diversified, faceted and features several medical departments. It is also facilitated for medical evacuation by air, with the provision of an Heliport.

The  large central  and octagonal medical theatre complex is located in the centre  of the entire facility, and directly connected to other departments. The medical syringe in the trauma complex is deliberately architecturally expressed in all stairscases in gentle rising helical stairs and ramps.

Other facilities in this Trauma centre are accommodation for doctors and other staff, facility maintenance department, fuel depot, library, staff and public canteen, sporting arena  etc.
