

Office Building for Truevine Women International Outreach, Port Harcourt Township, Rivers State
Description:
This building sits on a 350sqm of corner piece land in the old Portharcourt Township, and falls among the few re-development scheme in the ageing neighbourhood.
It features 120sqm of flexible office accommodation on the prototype floors. The ground floor offers a small hall for communal gathering,and micro events of the organisation. The building is accessed from the two aborting roads to the site.
The stair case is located and accessed from the rear. This is the main entrance to the building, and deliberately located at the rear to afford ample longitudinal and latitudinal facade for obstruction-free fenestration, and day-lighting of the small office space. On the first floor of the building are demountable partition, and configured for a cretch.
The architecture of the building block is very simple, and its perimeter wall designed was aimed at maximising the available space on the small township land. This effort is complimented by cantilevers on three sides of the building. Core facilities (toilets, janitor, storage & electrical room ) of the building are smartly located at the rear of the building with the access stair hall.
