Proposed Ilorin Interchange, Oja-Oba, Ilorin, Kwara State Nigeria

Description:

The proposed transport interchange firstly recognise the dominant islamic edifice of the nearby central mosque, and attempts to blend the new facility to its overriding environment.


Consequently, the proposed facility parades a blend of functionality wrapped in islamic facade. The entire ground flow offer free flow drive, and commercial parking arrangement. The access and exits of the facility takes note of participant observations of the Architects, and the multiple direction offered by several commuter routes.


Permanent finishes adore the facade of the structure, and domes exuded to convey continuity from the  existing and adjoining dominant central mosque.
