Proposed National Identity Management Commission, Registration Centre, Yenagoa- Bayelsa State.

Description:

This is a simple but intelligent 6-storey corporate office building for the National Identity Management Commission. The building features space configuration on the ground and first floor for use by the Commission, and lettable and flexible office spaces on four floors.


The ground floor of the building accommodates the registration centre and ancillary spaces for the commission while the first floor features operational offices for the commission. On the typical floors are over 500sqm of lettable office spaces on either side of the service core of the individual floors. The service core accommodates the stairs, toilet facilities and utility rooms.


The building is also facilitated with central air conditioning facility smartly integrated in its mechanical/electrical designs. The project site is sunken from the road, as such specially designed retaining walls and structural abortments introduced for the structural stability of the buiding in its marshy premises.


The general physiognomy of the building is simple, yet commands the architectural linguistic of a corporate centre.
